Where is Al-Eschbach now? Health Update – Was He Stabbed?

As for Al Eschbach age, he is 76 years old.

He was born on May 11, 1945 in Jersey City, New Jersey. He didn’t reveal much about his parents, including their names.

A graduate of Seton Hall Prep, Al completed his college education at the University of Oklahoma. His career began in 1966 as a part-time employee at Norman Transcript. He then wrote for many publications, including the Oklahoma Journal, the Edmond Evening Sun, and others.

Then finally, in 1976, his radio career began as a sports director at KTOK. In 1978 he began working at the University of Oklahoma as a basketball game radio analyst. He then started teaching Introduction to Sports Journalism there in 2003.

On television, he co-hosted the Dave Bliss Show, the El Eschbach Show and the Oklahoma Football Preview Show.

People know him best for his trip with The sport animal from WWLS. He has been with this commercial FM radio station since 1993.

Al is that 2020 recruit the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame and the Oklahoma Journalism Hall of Fame. He is also the recipient of the Bob Hersom Award 2016. In addition, the Governor of Oklahoma awarded him Al Eschbach Day on May 18, 2017.
